Maisie Nitsch and Marjorie Hughes

These two friends have both lived in Llangadog since before the war (that's WW2 against Hitler in case you weren't sure). They have a wealth of entertaining recollections of what life in Llangadog was like then - it's almost as if the war was fun except that, in many ways, it was actually as demanding for the children as it was for adults.

She's the No.1 cashier there and, while she spends most of her time face-to-face with customers, she is also a Personal Banker, and she occcasionally disappears into her small private office somewhere among the back rooms.

Steve is part of the Llandovery Neighbourhood Policing Team (NPT), sharing the job with colleague Helen Fender. They cover a wide area around Llandovery. Our villages are among Steve's responsibilities.
