The present Church building, one
of the oldest in Wales dates back to the 14th century.
However the oval shaped llan wall with no corner in
which the devil can hide dates back to between the
6th and 8th century.
This beautiful country church is
situated at the foot of the Black Mountain and is
open to all visitors between 9am and dusk. It provides
a place for quiet reflection and rest for walkers
before or after their walk to the legendary Llyn Y
Fan or other local places of interest and beauty.
To help with the Church upkeep a
small selection of locally made crafts are for sale
in the Church.
We hope that you will visit not
only to enjoy the building and its environment, but
also to worship with us.
Normal Service times are:
2nd Sunday Evensong at 2pm
4th Sunday Holy Eucharist at 11.15am
Other Services at Festivals and
other events are on the Church notice board and on
this website.
